PLUS SIZE CAPE. Shipped in one week. Worldwide Shipping.
If you believe in a zero-waste philosophy, have an appreciation for handmade, and wouldn’t mind wearing pieces that are a bit flawed (because aren’t we all?), our IMPERFECTS are for you.
A running thread, a stripe that overlaps another, a stain, a stitch less — to celebrate the uniqueness of these pieces and the people who handcraft them with passion, we are offering these handmade imperfects at markdown prices.
Our Imperfects are still the same in quality as our regular priced Cape and won’t wear out sooner. However, what makes these Capes different is that they have highly noticeable irregularities, such as patches with an incorrect weave or a colour difference when compared to the original design.
With armholes placed 54cm (or 21") apart, this PLUS sized Cotton Cape fits from sizes L-XXXL.
Can I/others around me see the inconsistencies?
Yes, most of these inconsistencies are easily visible as they could be in the front of your Cape or larger in size than what we typically consider a ‘regular irregularity’. A long stripe running down the front, for example, or a block of extra overlapping yarns will be visible but your Cape will still be good for many seasons and years of wear.
Why should I buy these?
If you believe in a zero-waste philosophy, have an appreciation for handcrafted pieces and wouldn’t mind wearing pieces that are a bit flawed (because aren’t we all?), our imperfects are for you.
What if they get worn out sooner?
No, our imperfects are still the same in quality as our regular priced Cape and won’t wear out sooner. What makes these Capes different is that they have highly noticeable irregularities, such as patches with an incorrect weave or a colour difference when compared to the original design.
Why don’t you sell them as regular pieces if the inconsistencies are so small/not visible?
Technically, we could. But as a brand we are transparent about our processes and pieces.
Can you show me the exact inconsistencies in the piece I order?
No, we cannot individually send you photos as that’s logistically not possible. However, every product description includes some general pictures that will give you an overall idea.
For one purchase you make, we plant one tree in your name. We send you an e-Tree Certificate with a code which links to a location marker showing where the tree was planted, so that you can trace your tree!
With our One for One model, in partnership with social enterprise Grow-Trees, we address community, women and nature. Tree planting generates employment for the village women, regulates the climate while improving the soil quality, which benefits farming communities.

Ursprung: JULAHAS
Julahas stellt wunderschöne, faire Produkte zusammen mit indischen Handwerkern her.
