Kalvos came to life as the result of some scribbled crayon layers inspired by the rolling Lithuanian hills. One of our most versatile pieces, it's made from cozy Merino wool with a hip-length front and a slightly longer back. Its side ties and metal buckles add a little extra sophistication while its soft grey shade makes it great for layering on those cool evenings.

• We don't believe in deadstock. This knit is produced in small batches at our female-lead, family-run partner factory in Šiauliai, Lithuania. You'll get a card with your order telling you exactly who knitted your garment and a little about them.
• For the knit, we use 100% Merino wool that's of Responsible Wool Standard, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used.

One of the brightest young talents in Lithuania, designer Viltė Savickaitė teamed up with Lithuanian artisans for handmade pieces to bridge the gap between traditional artisanal techniques and modern aesthetics. At the time having said her goodbyes to both of her biological grandmothers, Viltė worked with an elderly artisan Danutė to create the very first sample. "Danutė had become my wonderful friend, someone who I loved speaking to. I would visit her on dark winter evenings – more to spend time with her than just create something."
