WVSport models are designed and produced in the foothills of the Dolomites, Italy. Each model is created using CAD design technology that simulates the different phases of the walking experience. Advanced components and construction methods are used to create the models as a patented support system, meaning the fit is always comfortable and secure.

Development samples are lab tested for days on end for their abrasion resistance, durability and water resistance. Developing new models can take months and sometimes years.

The factory has one of the largest photovoltaic installations in Italy, meaning that 70% of the energy used to produce WVSport shoes comes from solar energy.

In addition to operating under EU employment, discrimination and health and safety legislation, the factory also has its own Charter of Human Responsibilities (or Code of Ethics) which ensures that the company is committed to respecting the rights, and the dignity of its employees.

To obtain the materials to make each model, we work with the factory using a traceability system that allows us to trace every step of the production process, so we always know what was used and where it came from.

Care

These sneakers are very breathable, the upper is made of a flexible knitted mesh. This means they are not water resistant . If you want dry feet, you can not wear it for a long time in light rain, walking through shallow puddles, through wet grass, light snow. In these cases, water will enter the footwear, usually through the mesh, eyelets or around the tongue.

• You can wear these in colder temperatures, but they are not insulated. We recommend wearing a thick, insulating sock to keep your feet warm in sub-zero temperatures, otherwise you could get cold feet.
• These trainers are fine with getting all wet and muddy, it won't damage the materials and they are easy to clean.
• To clean, wipe with warm water with a mild soap solution and a cloth or brush. To dry the pad with paper towels or a towel.
• In extreme cases, you can wash in a washing machine. Remove the insoles first. Do a short cool wash, put a small towel in the machine to protect the sneakers.
