What does Kami mean?Kami is a Japanese word that refers to a variety of gods and spirits. These are deities and energies found in nature. The word is often translated to ‘superior’. Japanese mythology has a multitude of Kami, and it’s up to you to choose which god or goddess you wish to connect with during your yoga practice.
