Umweltfreundlich: New Optimist verwendet Texloop RCOT-Garn aus Kreissystemen für seine Kleidung. Dies ist eine Mischung aus Bio- und recycelter Baumwolle. Dieses Material stammt aus der Türkei.

Lokal produziert: Lokale Produktion hat für New Optimist Priorität. Sie produzieren in Pijp in Amsterdam und laden alle ein, den Herstellungsprozess (durch das Schaufenster) zu sehen.
