Meaning of DakiniThe Dakini yoga harem pants are a tribute to the Dakini, a female messenger of wisdom. The Tibetan word for Dakini, khandro, means “sky-goer” or “space-dancer,” which tells us that these enlightened female beings have left the confinements of solid earth and have the infinity of open space to play in.
Dakinis are the luminous, subtle, spiritual energy, the key, the guardian of the unconditioned state. The Dakini is maybe a bit complex to understand, but she is inside of us.
